"Cubscouts is open to all 1st through 5th grade boys. 'The Cubscout program is designed to build character in our boys and instill values. Cub Scouting embraces the values of citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility. These values come to boys in all parts of the Cub Scout program—all while they're having a great time with their friends and families.'*
The 10 purposes of Cub Scouting are:
- Character Development
- Spiritual Growth
- Good Citizenship
- Sportsmanship and Fitness
- Family Understanding
- Respectful Relationships
- Personal Achievement
- Friendly Service
- Fun and Adventure
- Preparation for Boy Scouts
Pack 636 is a family-oriented Pack with a committment to fun! We have dedicated leaders who are trained and are motivated to provide a quality program for the Cubscouts. All leaders attend Youth Protection training and seek additional training in their leadership roles throughout the year.
There are Committee Positions still open for those who would like to get involved. There are few things more rewarding than seeing the boys of today become men of integrity and leadership tomorrow."
